California based mountain bike apparel company Kitsbow introduces its first glove to the accessory lineup–a leather, long-finger mountain bike glove called the Men’s All Mountain Glove. Looking to the past for inspiration, the team took classic leather driving gloves and updated them with modern touches for a comfortable and custom fit.
The palms and fingertips of the mountain bike gloves are made from high-quality Pittards leather–this not only gives you better grip and feeling on your bars/brakes, the leather will conform to your hand over time for that elusive custom fit. The index finger is electro-conductive so you can operate your Garmin and phone without having to remove your gloves and of course you will find nose wipe panels.
The rest of the glove features Schoeller abrasion-resistant panels for stretch and long-term durability. A small stretch knit patch covers your knuckles for increased flexibility and dexterity, while mesh panels between your fingers add ventilation. Knit cuffs sit comfortably against your wrist with Velcro straps to cinch them down as tight as you wish.
In order that you don’t lose your gloves in the dark recesses of your kit bag, small magnets at the wrist keep them together. The Kitsbow All Mountain Glove retails for $120 and is available from the company website.
