Luckily for fashionable brides, wedding dresses are now closely trailing the hottest runway trends. From slim and sexy silhouettes to edgy cut-outs, brides are definitely not afraid to get a bit more fashion-forward on their wedding day. We went straight to the source and sat down with bridal atelier owner Gabriella Risatti of Gabriella New York , to chat about all the hottest trends in bridal, including what she’s loving now, and what she’s expecting to sashay down the runway in upcoming seasons.

After the success of Inbal Dror, there has been an influx of amazingly talented wedding dress designers coming from Isarel, and they’re creating epically fashionable gowns! Gabriella has two new favorites she recommends, below.
Lihi Hod: ”Lihi Hod is a young, Israeli designer offering beautiful gowns and separates,” Risatti says. “ Each piece is custom made to the bride’s exact measurements, creating an incredible fit. The style is sexy, but still sophisticated and refined. The fit is perfection! The gowns are not widely distributed, adding to the exclusive and special nature of this design house.”
Flora: ”While Flora is also a young Israeli designer, her look is quite different from what we’ve already seen, Risatti explains. “The fabrications are very special and unique to this designer. The gowns are feminine, soft and a bit whimsical with just a hint of sexiness. They are often a soft A-line, which is a wonderful shape that lends itself to many different body types. These gowns also feel very diverse in that one could visualize them in many different settings.”
But don’t rule out hot, young American talents like Kelly Faetanini (Above), either!
“Our brides absolutely love the Kelly Faetanini gowns. Kelly is young and fashionable and it shows in her designs,” she says. “One of the things I really love about the Kelly Faetanini collection is the range it represents…”
