DJ, radio host and all-around dancefloor stalwart Pete Tong wears a number of different hats, and he’s just been enlisted by Netflix to act as Music Supervisor for its upcoming dance-focused film XOXO , due to arrive on the streaming platform in August.
Described as “set amidst the biggest EDM festival in America,” the upcoming film will follow “six strangers whose lives collide on one frenetic, hopelessly romantic night.”
The appointment was revealed by Billboard , which points out that it’s not the first time Tong has been enlisted to work as a supervisor in the film industry. His previous credits include Harry Brown , The Beach , 24 Hour Party People and It’s All Gone Pete Tong .
