It was such a blast to be a part of Julia and Mike's big day. They were sincere, trusting and above all, so much fun! They also allowed me to finally work with our Fave, Jenny, of Captured Photography . Today we're sharing these bright and cheerful images from this family infused West Palm Beach wedding.
Julia and Mike live in Massachusetts with family here in South Florida. They chose to host a destination wedding for all their loved ones in sunny Palm Beach and kept the weekend full of entertainment, beautiful views and more love than you can imagine. The wedding party got ready at the oceanfront Four Seasons where walks on the beach and posing by sea grape trees was, you know, just a part of the day. So pretty.
The two opted for a ceremony on the docks, right smack in the middle of the intracoastal waterway. Their home church pastor officiated a heartfelt sermon under the modern draped arbor with their wedding party surrounding them and guests looking on. The whole moment was breezy, serene and utterly romantic.
“
A moment that really stands out for us is walking from our ceremony (after we were married) to the venue by ourselves. Really soaking in that moment of love.”
Guests took a quick stroll across the street to the reception at the Lake Pavilion . The scene was set with twinkle lights, bright coral flowers assembled by family and a steel drummer creating a casual Florida vibe. An afternoon shower was cause for a brief change of plans, but it was all good. Julia and Mike both grabbed cocktails and made the best of rainy situation by starting the dance party inside a little early.
From Julia: Having my brother sing our first dance song was amazing because my dad was a musician and it was a huge part of our lives growing up. So it really made me feel like I had a piece of my dad with me. For Mike, being able to celebrate his parents 50th wedding anniversary with a dance in their honor was really beautiful. We loved every second we spent together with family and friends!
Warmest wishes for a beautiful life together, you two!
