Today’s wonderful Provencal wedding features Stéphanie as a truly beautiful Rime Arodaky bride, one of our favourite French wedding dress designers. Stéphanie and her fiance planned a simple yet elegant wedding in stunning surroundings in the heart of Provence, all captured by Reego Photographie .
The beautiful brides takes us through their love story and big day: “We met each other at the train station in Lyon. I knew when I met him he was the one. We decided to live together only 4 months after this day. It was 3 years ago and now we are married !
We knew we wanted to get married in summer with all our family and friends in south of France, near Nice. We visited lots of venue in a very short time because most of them were already reserved. We finally choose a stunning place with lavender, olive trees and a beautiful sea view Domaine des Oliviers de l’Esterel.
At Domaine des Oliviers de l’Esterel we had to engage the services of the wedding planner from the venue to assist us in the day. I would recommend that when you book a venue to look at what services/ vendors you have to book as part of the package and which ones you can choose from anywhere.
Dress shopping was also an adventure but a very pleasant adventure. I tried on number of dress in Paris with my mother in 1 day, including the dress that I ended up choosing. Finally It was the first dress I tried and I knew that I had found the perfect dress for me.
We decided our wedding should be simple yet elegant. We only invited 55 guests. We choose to do a natural decoration with lavender, olive trees branch and wood. I am a decorator and I spent a lot of time thinking about our wedding. I created all the decoration, it was very important for me.
My groom was very involved in the preparations and we created a wedding which look like us.
Our wedding was more than either of us could have hoped for. We had a day and night fill of love and laughter. All vendors were incredible to work with, especially with the photography and makeup. They were of a precious help during the wedding day.
After the day was over, what still remains most in my memory was my husband’s vows to me, how I felt discovering him with my wedding dress, my mother and father driving me to my husband for the ceremony. It was truly perfect and magical.
Enjoy everything , time goes by very fast!”
