Talk about recycling. This “tiny house” camper trailer is made of two yellow, 3,000-liter water tanks connected by a wooden frame over a cypress floor. It’s then mounted to a small trailer.
The super light Taku-Tanku camper trailer can be towed by a car or even bicycle (talk about strength training!).
It sleeps three people in a 250-cubic-foot space. Creature comforts are minimal, with solar power running four LED lights and two fans. It has a small storage compartment for luggage.
Unfortunately, the water containers are available only in Japan. But because of big interest in the U.S. the designers are considering revising the design using products available in North America.
