This gorgeous May 2, 2015 wedding of Cate and Rafael at the Annapolis Maritime Museum was truly nautical in so many respects! “Raf”, a lieutenant in the US Navy, is Puerto Rican and a graduate of the Naval Academy. One of the highlights of the day was a brief boat cruise around the Annapolis Harbor taken by the bride, her father, and her bridesmaids while the guests were arriving. Just prior to the start of the ceremony, the boat docked at the museum, and the groomsmen greeted the bridesmaids and walked them up the pier – which became the aisle. Then the bride and her father emerged from the boat and walked up the “aisle” to the ceremony. A second highlight was the Arch of Swords and its welcoming of Cate to the military lifestyle.
