Arctic Lake “Heal Me (SpectraSoul Remix)”
The London-based three-piece band Arctic Lake get the remix treatment from SpectraSoul and the results are straight up vocal-driven bliss. Building on the goosebump-inducing vibes of the original, SpectraSoul ease us into things with a subdued break that rolls gently beneath the piano chords and heart-wrenching vocals of vocalist Emma Foster. With just the right touch of dark melancholic vibes lurking at the edges, the transformation of “Heal Me” in to a proper liquid drum & bass roller feels so natural and unforced that it’s hard to believe this one started out any other way. A masterful remix from SpectraSoul once again.—Chris Muniz

Marcus Marr “Rocketship”
Oh my rocket ship, indeed. London producer Marcus Marr is coming off a much-hyped EP collaboration with Chet Faker and is sure to keep the chatter dialed high with this hotly tipped disco/house concoction via DFA Records. Sleazy chords, funky bass guitar licks, nice synth work, spacey pads, a mutated and twisted vocal—all the elements play off each other to great effect, creating a nostalgic yet futuristic dancefloor workout. —Boojie Baker

Polish Ambassador ft. Yaima “Our Game”
I'm definitely a man of extremes. I'm listening to either power-hour techno to get me through my day, or chill ambient music to calm me down. As the stress of EDC prep is starting to pile up on me, I have this song on repeat to lower my heart rate. I should probably stop drinking this coffee, though; it's making me dance in my chair, and everyone is looking at me weird. —Shmitty

HONNE “Someone That Loves You” (Ben Pearce Remix)
Late last week, deep and funkhouse maestro Ben Pearce re-emerged into the limelight with a delicately conducted remix of the soulful indie act HONNE. The pair are like a match made in heaven—Pearce sprinkles some tasteful bass action onto the otherwise perfect original, and the result has the potential to appeal to electroheads and indie snobs alike. It isn’t easy to alter a track like “Someone That Loves You,” especially the impassioned vocals of Izzy Bizou, but Pearce manages to create a highly satisfying, Anjunadeep-esque beauty that sounds like the last track you hear in the club before the lights come on—the one you’ll be thinking about the whole way home. —David Matthews

Jauz x Ghastly “Ghosts ‘n’ Sharks”
If imitation is the highest form of flattery, the new J x G collabo should leave deadmau5 blushing like a bashful soul stuck in a compliment contest. Maybe you didn’t immediately pick up on the reference in the title, but it’s a hidden-in-plain-sight clue pointing to this xerox of the Rob Swire–assisted anthem from before “EDM” was appropriate vernacular. I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s a complete rip-off (I’m sure some people will want to act like the two future house-flinging dudes are trying to get away with murder), but the similarities are definitely there. Then again, I’m sure that’s the whole point of them cleverly changing “Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff” to “Ghosts ‘n’ Sharks” (Ghastly and Jauz—get it?). Anyway, I’m not mad at this nifty little reimagining, especially at the half-time drop that reams its way into the second half of the free download. I wonder if Joel is already spewing hate all over my Twitter feed. BRB. Hmm, not as savage as most of his safe-behind-his-screen burns. —Sam Yu
