Princess Juliana International Airport is located in Saint Martin in the Carribean and serves the Dutch side of the island. The uniqueness about this airport is that it has a very short runway and the location of the airport is also very close to the shore.

Agatti Aerodrome, Lakshadweep
Agatti Aerodrome is located at the southern tip of the Agatti Island of Lakshadweep off the east coast of India. It is the only airport in the entire archipelago of Lakshadweep.
The island of Agatti itself is very tiny and is just 7 km long. Thus the authorities have to join two islands for an extension of the runway on Agatti.

Courchevel Altiport, France
Courchevel Altiport is an airport at an altitude that serves Courchevel which is actually a ski resort on the French Alps.
The runway of this altiport is very short and is only 537 meters. The surrounding area is completely mountainous terrain and thus there is no go around procedure that is followed at landing.
The airport is only avail to host small sized fixed wing aircrafts and helicopters at the moment. There is also no lighting available and hence it can be very risky to make landing in the late evenings and during low clouds and fog. It is one of the most dangerous airports in the world.

Gibraltar International airport is also known as the North Front airport. It is the only civilian airport that serves Gibraltar which falls under the British Overseas territory.
One of the most unique things about this airport is that the runway is intersected by Winston Churchill Avenue which is the road that takes you to the border of Spain. Due to this intersection, every time there is a plane ready to take off from the runway, the road needs to be closed.
