Many couples fall for their wedding venue, be it the scenery, architecture or a feeling they get while there. Due to timing, Bianca and Devon knew that capturing that essence on their big day would be close to impossible, so Melanie Gabrielle snapped their e-sesh on the grounds and we couldn't be more impressed!
Opting for a formal look, Bianca was radiant in a gold lace and tulle gown and Devon looked handsome in a modern black suit. Anthology Co. composed a small bouquet of bright red blossoms, berries and loads of greenery. The colors are magical amongst the manicured Mediterranean-Renaissance inspired location.
From Bianca: After visiting Europe and almost wanting to move there, I wanted a wedding venue that would bring me back to the same feelings I had when I was there. Villa Woodbine reminded me of something raw and organic, romantic, with dreamy fairytale architecture, a place outside of space and time. The same feelings I had when visiting Paris, my favorite city of all. I'm most looking forward to seeing my groom's face when I walk down the aisle.
“I love the way I feel at home with him.”
We got engaged while Devon was doing a 3 month internship in Los Angeles and the day after I had gotten back from a two week vacation in Europe. He got my entire family involved and even took a red-eye the night I returned from my trip. I walked out of the front door and could see a limo waiting at the end of the driveway, with rose petals creating a path straight to it. Still confused, I walked out beyond the side walk and saw my entire family watching as Devon came out around the corner and got down on one knee to propose. It was truly the most romantic evening of our lives.
I have to say, I'm totally sold on visiting your venue for pre-wedding portraits. The anticipation must be thrilling! Congratulations, you two.
