Today's beautiful and colorful backyard wedding is inspired by a Mexican fiesta! What could be more fun, right? Cat and Buddy knew that they had to work within a tight budget, leaving a lot of the details up to them, but they did not want to sacrifice on the fun. Cat decided to embrace her Cuban heritage whole heartedly for their big day, with gerbera daisies, tissue poms and papel picado in a variety of bold colors. Cat and Buddy's fiesta inspired wedding was hosted at Cat's parents' home in Tucson, Arizona, which is also where the two happened to get engaged! One day, Buddy ran in to get Cat, saying that one of their dogs had gotten loose and they need to go out back and find him. Behind the house, her parents own an acre of desert land where there are multiple little trails, and one of these trails leads to a fire pit. After leading Cat down the path to look for their dog, she was surprised to find that Buddy had decorated the trail with paper lanterns and candles! As she approached the fire pit, the area lit up with twinkle lights, and Buddy got down on one knee and proposed. After Cat said, "YES!" Cat's parents lit off fireworks to celebrate.
