Cash is king, so save your Benjamin’s. But do it in style by making yourself a rendition of this darling “honey fund frame”! I don’t know about you, but I feel like the ‘honeymoon fund’ is the perfect replacement for the money dance. Less cheese, more cheddar. Strategically leave this frame out at all your wedding events, from your engagement party and bridal shower to your wedding… and gently encourage your guests to donate to the cause – you celebrating becoming Mr & Mrs! Believe me, with a handmade detail this attractive the dollars are sure to start piling up!
Purchasing a “top-loading shadowbox frame” is a must for this project! It not only looks good but it’s incredibly functional! We got ours at Michaels .
Made a mistake? Not a problem, easily clean the paint pen off the glass with nail polish remover. I keep straight up acetone in my cabinet which works like a dream but some non-acetone removers might not work as well.
Once you are happy with the outline of your design, carefully go over it – shading and filling in areas to embellish the font.
CRAFTERS TIP // You have to wait until the paint dries on the glass to go over it again, otherwise it will just lift itself up. Good thing it dries quickly!
