Happy 4th of July!!! Today officially marks my 3 year anniversary of making, shooting and writing DIY tutorials. It’s been a long and glorious road and I’m glad that you’ve been here to share it with me! Looking back at our very first DIY post is hilarious. Don’t do it, unless you want to embarrass me – lol. Hey, we all have to start somewhere :)
This project is a fun new trend we’ve been seeing lately, the Bridesmaid Survival Kit. Make and give your bridesmaids a sweet gift box full of inexpensive items that will help them personally survive your long and wonderful wedding day. Not to be confused with the Bridal Emergency Kit , this present is for each bridesmaid – full of fun little things specifically for them to enjoy throughout the day…
SUPPLIES:
- Kraft paper box (ours is 7.5″ x 7.5″)
- Crinkle shred
- Sticker paper
- Paper trimmer
- Ribbon
There are loads of fun things that you can include in your Bridesmaid Survival Kits, below are our suggestions…
- Something fun!
- Your wedding day itinerary complete with timeline and important numbers
- Champagne is a must!
- Possibly their wedding jewelry
- Party poppers or the like
- A good healthy snack (being a bridesmaid burns calories!)
- Lip Gloss
- Pain killer
- Breath freshener
- Nail essentials

Download and print our darling design above onto sticker paper and cut down to 6″ x 6″.
Peel the backing off the label and stick onto the box lid. Our design has an empty space on the label for you to handwrite each of your bridesmaids names… and/or tie with a large ribbon.
The wedding day itinerary. Keep all your girls informed of the days activities and your timeline by including this important information inside the box… also include helpful phone numbers for them to have, just in case.
UPDATE 7.22.14
Since we posted this project, there have been multiple requests for a free, editable printable for this “Wedding Day Itinerary Card”… guess what – it’s here!
