We started the week out with a bang, but we thought we’d end it on a romantic whisper. This incredibly sweet Virginia bay elopement was captured by Lindsay Collette Photography . Lindsay had some touching words to share with us about experiencing a union as the sole guest and photographer.
“The day, though not sunny, was aglow with the elements for an perfect, intimate elopement: love, joy, and peace. Love that C. and S. so clearly share for each other; which is visible in so many of their loving touches and thoughtful actions towards each other. Peace. So, so much peace. Peace in knowing that C. is “The One” for S., that good things–the best things–come in their own time, and that massive centerpieces and a great lighting package aren’t necessary for the one thing that matters most: the exchange of vows. And joy. Joy in knowing that nothing, nothing else mattered than what was on their hearts on this day.”
