Today we are incredibly excited to introduce the newest member of the Bayside Bride Team, Rebekah Nix! After interning for us back in October of 2011, our little family hasn’t been the same without her and we are absolutely thrilled to have her back in the family!
Welcome to the Bayside Bride Family, Rebekah!
Born abroad, but raised as a Maryland girl through and through, Rebekah knew that her love for weddings made her a perfect fit for the Bayside Bride team. After interning for the blog in Fall of 2011 she worked hard to finish her degrees in English & Media and Communications at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Graduated and ready to return, she wants nothing more than to pass her love of event planning & weddings onto brides-to-be. Aside from scrolling through gorgeous wedding photos or writing articles, Rebekah spends her summer days kayaking around Kent Island & her winter nights ice skating at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. She has a soft spot for traveling, her high school sweatshirt, and tea imported from her hometown of Harrogate, England.
There are some big and exciting changes on the horizon for all of us over here at Bayside and bringing Rebekah in as our lead Editor-in-Chief allows us to make a few of our dreams happen! We have some incredible goals that we’ve been keeping on the back burner and we’re ready to dive in head first and make these dreams a reality!
