The great open and contemporary space at the Glass House at the West Chelsea Arts Tower provided stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. The space was minimally decorated with simple flowers and burlap linens.
Cathy Carl, a dear friend of the couple, provided their personal civil marriage ceremony at sunset filled with touching and funny stories that didn’t leave a dry eye in the place.
With aprons draped over the backs of chairs, guests began to question, “What’s this for?” and it was immediately revealed that dinner would be a Low Country Boil, a favorite family tradition! Such a perfect way to combine your roots into your wedding!
“Eating shrimp with your fingers and over looking the light filled skyline of NYC was an interesting juxtaposition and quickly took away any inhibitions and increased party atmosphere,” said Byron and Lawson.
We love the beautiful cake by Tinna Brenton Catering, Inc . Cake toppers are always a fun way to incorporate your style into it. Byron and Lawson are sitting cozy with their dogs as the focal point!
