Today’s Real Engagement photo shoot features our own Wedding Paper Divas Site Merchandising Manager Laura, and her fiance Derek. They met halfway around the world in Shanghai, China, only to discover that they live 15 minutes apart back here in the Bay Area! During their month in Shanghai, their friendship grew over good food, playing volleyball and Laura depending on his Chinese to navigate through the city. They kept in touch when they got back to the states, and are very excited to be tying the knot this July.
Their engagement shoot combines Laura’s love of DIY and nature with Derek’s love of photography and industrial textures. The day was much colder than they had planned for, but it made for some cozy photos and gorgeous views of San Francisco and Lover’s Lane.
