If his track record is any indication, it’s clear Martin Solveig knows a few things about whipping up a proper chart-topper. He’s applied those skills like a champ on the Tkay Maidza-assisted “Do It Right,” which has been steadily racking up millions of plays on every major platform. It’s a hit, if we’ve ever heard one. He’s now handing off the hype baton to four painfully current artists to round out the remix package.
Joining KC Lights, Leon Lour and Ramon Tapia is none other than Marc Spence, the UK producer who has been on a mean streak lately with top-of-the-line records placed on Food Music, This Ain’t Bristol, Cheap Thrills and more. He brings out as much bounce as possible with his take, setting the tune abuzz with thrummed-out frequencies that shoot up and down the chopped-up vocal hook. Doing it right, indeed.
