Last year, M.I.A. revealed to the world that Skrillex would have a role in her upcoming album Matahdatah, set for release in July. The collaboration was revealed via a less-than-subtle Instagram post picturing him hard at work alongside another of her past collaborators, Blaqstarr .
While firm news about the album’s release is still pending, M.I.A. put out a curious video snippet that teases what the collaboration with Skrillex will sound like. It turns out it’s a particularly delicious, bass-heavy slammer she also teased last week via another candid video taken while she was on her way to deliver the album’s final track list to the label.
