NINOX Designer Technical Menswear

NINOX Designer Technical Menswear

Boulder based Ninox is a new designer menswear label that uses technical performance fabrics to better connect your outdoor and everyday life. Officially launched October 1st by founders Allie Thielens and Greg Casals, Ninox adds a little sophistication to your normal performance outerwear wardrobe.

The inaugural Ninox collection includes four different pieces—three different jackets and one hoodie. For the collection, Ninox has partnered with both Schoeller and PrimaLoft.

The Bennett ($579) softshell jacket uses Schoeller WB-400, a wool bonded with luxury-soft fleece, great for almost any condition and extremely comfortable and durable. The collar linings and trims incorporate a Schoeller designed downproof fabric with NanoSphere finish for the added bonus of repelling dirt, sweat, and water.

Starting with a template that is more field jacket than ski jacket, Ninox designed the Stratton ($449) insulated jacket to offer the same durability and warmth of a technical outdoor jacket, but with a more refined look. The semi-form fitting jacket has a double box quilted pattern with a smooth liner allowing for easy layering and movement.

The Stratton is sewn from Schoeller fabric treated with a Nanosphere finish, making it naturally self-cleaning. Finally, Ninox filled the Stratton with PrimaLoft Gold Insulation in order to keep the jacket lightweight yet warm.

The Weston Hoodie ($149) is made from 100% organic cotton grown in Texas and spun in North Carolina. All of the Ninox products are made in North America, with the outerwear jackets sewn in Vancouver, Canada, and the hoodie sewn in Los Angeles.

Similar to Stio , Ninox plans to skip the middle man and sell direct through the brand’s e-commerce store. All items are available for pre-order now and will start shipping at the end of the month.
