"Lisa actually expected the proposal on her birthday, and I knew that, so I played along," shared Vincent. "I took her out for her birthday, but nothing special [happened]. Needless to say, she was disappointed, but she never let me know she was. Little did she know, I had already planned out the proposal with her Pharmacy Preceptor and the staff at Jackson Memorial for the following week! They also told me that the PR staff at the hospital had caught wind of the plans and that CBS news might also be there to film. Talk about pressure! The next Thursday night, I flew in from Atlanta and stayed at a friend's house. The following afternoon, I drove to the hospital where I met up with Lisa's preceptor. From there, I was shuttled into a hospital room and briefed by the CBS camera guy and the PR staff of the hospital. Lisa was told that she would be part of a promotional film for Jackson Memorial to calm any suspicions she'd have about the cameras. She was directed into the hospital room where I was hiding in the bathroom. After the staff got her in place, they signaled me to come out. I proposed on camera and we ended up on CBS local news!"
