The North Face Cragaconda Climbing Pack

The North Face Cragaconda Climbing Pack

Building on the popularity of the Ice Project pack from last winter, The North Face follows it up with a rock climbing version–the Cragaconda. Designed together with climber Sam Elias, this 45L pack has all the organization you need for a day at the crag.

Much like the Ice Project, the pack zips fully open to reveal the contents. This one comes with a foam lined door that can double as a place to sit while you put on your shoes and rack up. The Cragconda also features a rope tarp, so while you rack up, your second can start flaking in a dirt-free spot.

Inside the pack, you will find racking points to organize all your hardware, a dedicated helmet holder, and a pocket for your shoes and harness. An additional small security pocket holds your keys and wallet so they don’t fall out halfway on the approach, and the oversized external top pocket lets you stuff in plenty of snacks, your camera, and other accessories.

The hipbelt is removable if you want to wear it with a harness for the occasional multi-pitch route, and it comes with the same crush-proof metal buckle as the Ice Project.

The North Face Cragaconda retails for $169.95 and will start shipping in time for your spring climbing season next year.
