If the big dump of snow from last weekend didn’t get you excited to start waxing up your ski or snowboard equipment for the season, the upcoming Girls Ride Free night at Mount Seymour will.
Every Monday evening starting January 27 and running until March 31st (excluding Feb 10th), ladies can ride for free from 5pm to 1opm at Mount Seymour as a part of the Shred for the Cure in support of the BC Cancer Foundation.
On for its 7th year, Shred for the Cure has become a great fundraising night with over $122,000 being raised for the BC Cancer Foundation . With your help, they hope to reach a $150,000 milestone and continue to support breast cancer research.
Girls of any age can participate in Shred for the Cure at Mt Seymour by picking up a voucher at any one of the participating retail locations listed at the bottom of the article.
Once you grab a voucher (or two or ten), head up to Mt Seymour any Monday between January 27 to March 31 after 5pm and make a donation to the BC Cancer foundation at Guest Services.
Ladies will receive a complimentary evening lift ticket to ski or ride at Mt Seymour after redeeming their Shred for the Cure Voucher at Guest Services and making a minimum of $5.00 donation to the BC Cancer Foundation. All proceeds from Monday nights will go directly to support the BC Cancer Foundation and Breast Cancer research.
It’s not just about free snowboarding, girl’s night at Mt Seymour also includes music blasting throughout the night and a ladies only park jam in their terrain park. They’ll also have some great prizes being given away this year including; jackets, hoodies, toques, goggles, sunglasses and even a snowboard!
Sorry guys, free skiing and snowboarding on Monday nights is only available for girls. But, maybe if you invest in a really good wig and some makeup…
