Those “bassPOD was lit” memes weren’t lying; the stage brought the heat to EDC Las Vegas like no other. But all pyro complication jokes aside, we’re still trying to sort through all the unholy low-end business that was getting banged out every act last weekend (we have a lengthy Shazam list to show for it). There’s a decent chance some of those massive sub-rumblers you are trying to put a name to are living on the just-released Bassrush 1.0 compilation, the collaborative album put out by the Viper Recordings and Bassrush crews. It’s a more than respectable roundup of the finest festival gems in drum & bass, trap, and dubstep totaling a whopping 50-track package of pure flooring filth.
We already put you up on one of the seven exclusive tunes when we gave Sygnal our TOTD nod, and now you can stream the shit out of every other bit both teams have deemed suitable for your speakers. Unless you don’t think names like Matrix & Futurebound, Mind Vortex, InsideInfo, Metrik, InsideInfo and Datsik are good enough? Yeah, that’s what we thought.
Any of our bass-heads in the L.A. region should make their way over to the Regent tonight, because we heard the album launch party is going to go all the way off.
