Every Wednesday–local yoga-lover’s brand-of-choice, Lululemon –will be giving you a chance to take a break from the daily grind by hosting the weekly Nooner Yoga Series . For a little downward dog between sandwich bites, head to the Olympic Cauldron at Jack Poole Plaza every Wednesday in July and August for a free summer sweat session.
It wouldn’t be Vancouver without some outdoor yoga, would it? This weekly class is open for anyone and everyone, no matter if you can touch your toes or barely touch your knees.
The sessions include a lineup of well-known yoga teachers from studios all over town, so you’ll get a different kind of class every time. Each yoga session is unique and easy to follow, so you won’t need to worry if you’ve never tried yoga before.
The Nooner Yoga Series are held every Wednesday from noon until 12:45 pm and are completely free for drop-in. Grab a friend or coworker, your mat and a water bottle and head to Jack Poole Plaza for a complimentary yoga class.
Classes will be held on July 23 and 30, August 6, 13, 20, 27.

With the sun coming back in the upcoming forecast, Jack Poole Plaza is an amazing place for some stretching in the sun. An amazing view over the ocean and dramatic architecture surrounding you might make it hard to focus on which pose is next!
Don’t be surprised if you’re the star of someone’s photographs, as there is quite a lot of pedestrian traffic touring around the Vancouver Convention Centre . But, slap on a smile and sit back (or into child’s pose) to enjoy your awesome, free yoga class!
