Mongolian landscapes are unlike any I have seen in the world. The scenery itself is breathtaking, yet there is always the element of the odd cloud formations that add that different dimension to each photograph.
When we were driving through Mongolia on our Mongol Rally adventure it almost always felt like you were experiencing a little of  Agoraphobia( fear of open spaces) as the landscape was just that vast. The sky always seemed to be so close to the earth and seemed to go on forever.
This photograph was taken just after our third river crossing. The perfect combination of water, earth and sky. The small river draws your eye to the imposing Altai Mountains and that dramatic canopy above.
