How did you find your photographer?

Amanda and I have been best friends since I can remember! Her Mom started baby sitting me when I was 6 months old. She’s been a great friend to me throughout my life and she is an insanely talented photographer. I can’t wait to share my crazy day with her!

What are you DIY-ing for your wedding?

I feel like our entire wedding could be described as a DIY wedding. We will be having a very intimate ceremony for mostly immediate family way up in the High Sierras at almost 8,000 ft. We will be to providing all our own power, our own music, etc. My little Brother will be the one performing our ceremony and I could not be happier!

What are you looking forward to the most?

I absolutely can’t wait to experience the beautiful wilderness with the people I love most. My fiancé Jon and I spend a lot of our free time in the mountains camping, there’s just something about how serene it is that keeps drawing me back. And, of course I can’t wait to run around the meadows with my new husband! -Nicolette, the bride
