When you are out and about with your best buddies making memories, of course, you will want to take pictures to remember all the happy times, but what happens when the pictures aren’t turning out as you planned? Have no fear; taking that perfect picture isn’t as hard as you thought. Through experience, I have learned a lot about how to take a picture that will make time stand still, and I am going to share the tricks with you.
Tip #1-
Let the perfect moment come to you. The best pictures always come from when they were not expected. Candid pictures have a way of expressing the feelings that were happening in the moment they were taken; whether they are of people, nature, animals, or a landscape, pictures always seem to turn out best when they are a spur-of-the-moment shot. Tip #2-
Try new directions, locations, and angles at which the photo is being taken. You can never have too many different versions of a picture, and variety is good. Plus, taking a picture from different angles gives you a better idea of what you want your picture to turn out like; under what lighting, what perspective, or how close or far away it is taken from. Tip #3-
Pay attention to the light around you. When photographing outdoors, you have so many options on what lighting you want to use, so it all depends on what style photo you want. Sunsets and sunrises are incredible backdrops if you want a dramatic looking picture, or a silhouette. On a sunny day, the lighting is fantastic for landscape pictures and portraits of people and animals. A gloomy day makes for pictures that can be dramatic and intense. Light can make the subject of a picture pop out or fade away, depending on what type of photo you want. As you experiment with light and photos, make sure to try lots of different angles and perspectives. Tip #4-
Never limit yourself to how many pictures you take; the more the better. If you are taking pictures in the outdoors, chances are things are not going to be perfectly still for you all the time. Wind blows, water moves, clouds come and go, and animals can make an appearance. If you see a potential picture chance, just start pressing the shutter. Sure, there may be pictures that didn’t turn out as you planned, but in almost every bunch, there is at least one picture that you will end up loving; and you never know, you might get a picture of something unusual, whether you tried to or not!
