United States is one of the best countries in the world for camping in the wild, which is why we would like to create a series of blogs of some of the best destinations for camping in the U.S. Today we will talk about Biscayne National Park in Florida.

Phenomenal Water World
Biscayne National Park is located in the south side of Florida and it covers 172, 971 of territory. The National Park protects Biscayne Bay and its offshore barrier reefs. The Biscayne National Park has several islands including Elliot Key, which is the largest island in the park and the first island of the Florida Keys, formed by fossilized coral reef. This National Park has one of the largest coral reefs in the world.
Biscayne protects the shoreline mangrove swamp, the shallow waters of Biscayne Bay, the coral limestone keys and the offshore Florida Reef. These ecosystems are home of more than 200 species of fish, pelagic birds, whales and hard corals. Biscayne also protects sixteen endangered species including Schaus’ swallowtail butterflies, smalltooth sawfish, manatees, and green and hawksbill sea turtles lives in the park.

For Denver Tent adventure lovers, this National Park offers two campgrounds. Both are located on islands, and the only access to them is by boat. Private boats can access the campgrounds year round.
