Today the French Broad River Music Festival begins! This family-friendly festival is near and dear to our hearts, as its taken place for years in our neck of the woods: Hot Springs. Thru hikers come off the trail and families take the day off of school and work and head into the woods for a weekend of music, art, and river fun!
From the river clean up, to the kid’s village, to the annual french broad river raft race there is something for everyone at this musical community summit. And you guessed it, the Lotus Lounge will be making an appearance this weekend! Be sure to come by and say hey to our team, you can find us hanging out in the hammocks . And it’s not too late to snag your tickets, find them at the front gate! Two day camping passes and single Saturday passes are still available. “The 17th Annual French Broad River Festival will take place on May 2th-May 4th, 2014 in beautiful Hot Springs, North Carolina. The festival, a benefit for American Whitewater, Homeward Bound, and Hot Springs Community Learning Center, is located just 35 minutes north of Asheville at the beautiful Hot Springs Campground and Spa. Come spend the weekend with family and friends listening to great regional and national recording artists. Enjoy shopping for new outdoor gear at the Live Auction or with one of our many art and craft vendors. Try participating in the “Paddle with the Pros”, the 8th Annual FBRF Mountain Bike Race, or the 17th Annual French Broad River Raft Race.
