We are so pleased to have Brittany, a guest blogger for our “Real Brides” blog series. Brittany and her husband, who live in NYC, were recently married in Chicago. She is sharing tips, inspiration and ideas for engaged couples who are navigating the world of weddings! For her final series post, today she is sharing about her Day-Of Wedding Stationery and other details and décor from the big day!
In addition to our amazing wedding invitation suite , Wedding Paper Divas also helped us create our day-of stationery – including programs , menus , napkins and place cards (with Debi Zeinert’s stunning calligraphy!) – using the beautiful Night Blooms design. Eric and I had a lot of fun writing the program copy and coming up with some of our own interpretations of Jewish customs included in our wedding ceremony.
We thought the design looked absolutely gorgeous, especially set against our incredible tablescapes and reception décor!
I was so inspired by the beautiful watercolor flowers, I even made a hairpiece for my sister & matron of honor to wear, and asked our amazing cake designer, Amy Beck , to match the cake to the invitations with sugar flowers and frosting detail!
I must give a shout out to Wedding Paper Divas’ incredible service – I don’t think any bride-to-be can truly anticipate just how crazy the last couple of weeks before the wedding can be, and Wedding Paper Divas was completely on it in every way (through the whole process all the way up into the big day), making sure our orders were perfect and ahead of schedule so we would have one less thing to worry about. They really are the best!
A big goal of ours was to make the wedding feel like us, with many custom, creative touches and we were able to do that and more through our stationery and décor – mission accomplished! I have so enjoyed planning our wedding and sharing our ideas through this blog series, and wish an equally happy experience to all the engaged couples out there, present and future – thanks for reading and happy planning!
