While planning their destination wedding, Chelsea and William knew they wanted an elegant celebration with a rustic and beachy twist. St. Augustine was their choice with all it's nautical and historic charm. Not a detail or moment was missed by our Fave, Chelsey Boatwright . Enjoy!
The bride's lace and tulle gown paired beautifully with the bright flowers and seafoam green dresses donned by her bridal party. Each lady carried a bundle of coral roses, dahlias, succulents and dusty miller. My favorite detail is the cascading ribbons that mimic the lines of Chelsea's shimmering dress.
I love that Will is reserved on the outside but has a secret goofy and funny side that not everyone gets to see. Will says he loves my fun-loving personality.
The two were wed in a historic church right in the downtown section of Florida's Oldest City. For many, the ceremony becomes the most treasured time of the whole wedding day and this was so for Chelsea and Will, too. She explains, "My favorite moment was seeing Will at the end of the aisle waiting for me. All my pre-wedding jitters went away as soon as I locked eyes with him."
“ I often thought of the phrase, 'you, me and the sea' when I was planning. ”
More seaside inspiration was brought to life during their celebration at the The White Room . Chelsea had gathered rustic barnacles, shells, starfish, octopus figurines and mermaid favors to add to the washed ashore design. The Conservatorie added more succulents and airplants, driftwood and seafans to complete the look.
The two left their celebration in serious style: on a ricksha beneath a tunnel of sparklers by the waterway. Congratulations, you two!
