I love this amazing Cwtch Of The Week! An Australian and Welsh Cwtch taken by the lovely Owen Mathais ! I have family who live away and I know that when you see them you hold them tighter as you don’t always know when you will see them again. I can see how tightly Nat’s mum is squeezing the couple….so happy and so excited.
When you know you know and even though Nat and Ben met while travelling in Canada it was meant to be. Ben is from the East Coast of Australia and Nat decided to leave the little Welsh town of Tonteg and live there with Ben until they moved up to the beautiful Byron Bay. This is where, on the 5th of December, they had their first wedding with all of Ben’s family and their Australian friends.
Christmas day they hopped on a plane and flew over for the second part of their wedding, on the 9th January, at the lovely DeCourcey’s where everything was the complete opposite of their first wedding…….Rain, cold and wind instead of the blue Australian skies. A different dress, different suit for Ben and a really welsh feel to the day. They even had their blessing read in welsh!!!
