When you fall for the perfect wedding venue, centering the design of your day around it just makes perfect sense! Candace and Elliot did just that with their rustic coral & turquoise day that was inspired by the gorgeous setting and views of Key West's The Southernmost House . Canadian couple Candace, a conference planner, and Elliot, a technician expert, met on a dating site; they knew from the start that they had found something special. With Elliot's extended family in Tennessee making a US wedding convenient, and Candace's longtime desire for a beach wedding, Key West became the perfect destination city for them. They fell instantly in love with the The Southernmost House, and the venue became both their wedding location and the inspiration for the day's design - rustic and beachy, with coral, peach and turquoise color accents.
Says Candace, "The house itself was so unique and the property was breath taking we just had to have the wedding there! We knew our guests would enjoy the property and it would become like a mini vacation for a lot of them."
The first look was the couple's favorite moment of the day; says the bride, "It was such an emotional and special time for Elliot and I."

They kept the reception decor simple and on-theme: "The Southernmost House property itself was so beautiful that I wanted to keep the center pieces and decorations very minimal. All of our wedding collateral and decorations were centered around the colors of the House."
Candace's favorite details were the flowers, designed by Love in Bloom: from the bouquet to the centerpieces, she felt every arrangement was stunning.
We just loved having all of the people we love most in this world come together to celebrate us! We had spent two years planning this wedding and it felt so good to actually see everything come together and see your guests so full of love and happiness! It was truly an unforgettable day.
