It's a pretty special thing to meet your match, build your first home together, and then tie the knot right in the new community that you love! Danielle and Scott kept it elegant and traditional for their wedding at Nocatee Crosswater Hall in Ponte Vedra, and Stephanie W. Photography carried the timeless feel all the way through her gorgeous images.
Scott and Danielle met through a mutual friend, who set them up on a blind date. As outdoor lovers, they spend a lot of time at the beach or on the nature trails around their home in Ponte Vedra. (Except, as Danielle tells us, during football season!) The two had just finished building their first home in Nocatee, and fell in love with the Crosswater Hall's exposed beams, chandeliers, and beautiful outdoor ceremony space... it was the perfect all-in-one spot for them to wed.
The couple wanted a simple, elegant, timeless design for their day, choosing a neutral color palette in ivory, cream and blush and accenting it with arrangements of lush pink roses. They kept mostly to tradition, forgoing the first look and seeing each other for the first time as Danielle walked down the aisle - her favorite moment of the day.
Danielle tells us that the weather was cool, crisp and perfect on their October wedding day, and that everything went off without a hitch.
“We spent 13 months planning and were so happy with the final result. Our vendors made everything perfect and it was just the way we envisioned it.”
The elegantly traditional touches continued into the cocktail hour and reception, with passed oyster martinis and escort cards tied to mini champagne bottles. And how gorgeous are those beams? Such a stunning room.
Congratulations, Scott and Danielle! Best wishes in your new home and life together.
