Allison and Kyle are one of those couples that had fun during the time they spent planning for their special day in Palm Beach. They live in Orlando, so much of the planning was completed during long car rides to and from the two cities. As Allison says, "The whole time we were engaged to today's date, 2 months after our wedding day, is my favorite part. It was that bonding time that went into the wedding day that made it so special."

The truth is being engaged was the best and most exciting time in my life. I loved the planning, the stress, the late night meetings, driving back and forth all because it was something that Kyle and I did together.

Allison describes their wedding party style as "laid back and simple, but elegant". She adored her light and airy flowers that complemented the look so well. Kyle's favorite accessory? The shotgun shell boutonniere holders! "Kyle saw them and had to have them . I think he was just as excited to wear that as I was to wear my dress!".
Allison's favorite part of the ceremony was having both her father and step-father escort her down the aisle. For her, "It was so special to have them both give me away to the man of my dreams. Being married is seriously one of the most amazing feelings in the whole entire world. There is something so peaceful knowing that you have found your soulmate and you get to spend the rest of your life with him."
The ceremony and celebration were held at the Royal Poinciana Chapel on Palm Beach that overlooks the gorgeous waterway dividing the island and mainland. Guests sipped champagne on the beautifully manicured lawns and enjoyed the crisp air during sunset. The blush, ivory and gold color palette were carried through with the floral arrangements, gilded flatware, and even the scrumptious cake display.
Our cake was THE BEST! Kyle and I couldn't pick just one flavor so we ended up having six layers, all different flavors. Our favorite was vanilla cake with cookie batter filling and buttercream frosting. I can't wait until our first anniversary so we can pull out the top layer and eat it.
Our wedding day was perfect. If I had to pick my favorite part it would be this: at the end of the reception Kyle and I had our last dance, just the two of us, with only our parents in the room. It was the most amazing feeling just looking around seeing everything that came together, seeing the happiness in our parents eyes, dancing with my husband to our favorite song, talking about all of the funny things that had happened throughout the night and knowing that I would have my best friend by my side for the rest of my life.
