Do you want to send your guests to their seats with a little extra sparkle? Transform simple clothespins into the perfect addition to your escort or seating cards… curious on the difference? Read the definition below…
SUPPLIES:
- Martha Stewart Crafts Decoupage glue in gloss finish
- Martha Stewart Crafts glitter in your favorite shade
- mini-wood spring clothespins
- paint brush
- simple escort or seating cards
STEP ONE: apply one even coat of MSC decoupage glue to the top of each clothespin
STEP TWO: immediately apply glitter over the glue, let dry for at least one hour
STEP THREE: seal the glitter with another coat of decoupage glue, let dry for at least one hour. Once sealed you won’t loose one sparkle!
STEP FOUR: print simple escort or seating cards and then use the clothespin to hang the card on a water, wine or champagne glass! Just adorable! It’s the little details that make a difference :)
These can be used as…
‘Escort Cards’ like the picture above including the table number, meaning they would escort your guests to the correct table; no seating assignment. These would be placed in a foyer area before the guests enter the reception area.
– or –
‘Seating Cards’ like the picture below being placed at each table setting, meaning they let each guest know where their seat is located – not needing the table number. How will you incorporate these darling glitter clothespins into your special day?
