Mike and Cailey are the definition of a “cute couple”. These two high school sweethearts went to school together from kindergarten to 12th grade and literally have photos sitting beside each other doing crafts in those miniature desks at 5 years old. So adorable…
…Not only are they adorable but they are so fun to be around. It’s evident they have been friends for years in the way they interact with each other and those around them. What better way to start a relationship! Their fun-loving, playful, but yet oh-so-sweet and caring relationship is so refreshing and absolutely beautiful. This beachy engagement session captures just that. From the stunning location on Mayne Island, B.C. to all the fun details including a set of binoculars that have been around their family cabin on Mayne Island for years, it was neat to be able to document their engagement in a place that has been in Cailey’s family for generations. So meaningful.” – Taliah Berger Photography
“ Taliah is actually my sister! It was great because we were obviously wanting photos to capture our engagement, and she had some ideas for the shoot she wanted to try at the cabin so it worked out perfect! I have grown up going to Mayne Island with my family (as did my father and his siblings) and now with Mike as well, so it was neat to be able to celebrate this exciting stage of life at a location that has such sentimental value… with a photographer who understands that and was able to capture it so perfectly…
..Of all the wedding plans, I am most excited to see the ceremony site all set up how we have planned it, and to see Mike at the end of the aisle. I think that is the moment that every girl waits for, and I have a feeling it will definitely be my favorite part of our wedding! I’m also really excited about our sparkler exit because I have seen many photos of it done that way and it always looks so beautiful!” – Cailey, the bride-to-be
