Pink and Teal Mountain Wedding in California
Not only is this colorful mountain wedding breathtaking, but every detail is perfectly connected to a story from the couple’s past. Aaron proposed to Elise on top of Half Dome and Elise and her dad have many memories camping and hiking in Yosemite. With these memories in mind, Elise and Aaron saw Glacier Point in Yosemite, CA. the perfect place to say “I Do!” Their first movie seen together as a couple was the adorable movie, “UP,” which was reflected throughout the reception with colorful pink and teal accents and fun DIY decorations.
Even Elise’s bridal fashion had meaning! She wore a 120 year old vintage veil that had been handed down for generations from “Diana,” (the original bride’s name as seen on the veil.) Her “something blue” were adorable sparkle Toms that shined boldly beneath her ruffled wedding dress, and the grooms wore customized Nike sneakers that flashed their names across the back (thanks to Nike ID shoes online.)
I have to say that next to the breathtaking views of the wedding ceremony, my favorite part of this fun and sentimental wedding were the customized, hand painted, bean bag toss set. They perfectly matched the story of Carl and Ellie from “UP” with Elise and Aaron’s adorable story of adventure and fun.
Elise and Aaron, congratulations and we hope that your marriage is filled with the same fun, love, and adventure of Carl and Ellie!
Thank you so much Amy Atkins Photography for sharing this beautiful wedding with The Bride Link!
Aaron and Elise’s favorite breakfast are Blueberry Muffins, so they sent each guest away with their favorite muffin mix. How adorable!
