New Inov-8 Trailroc For Maximum Security Over Loose Terrain

For Fall 2012, natural running company Inov-8 has designed a line of trail running shoes for use specifically on loose, rugged, and eroded terrain. Offering various levels of underfoot protection, the Trailroc series meets the needs of every style and level of trail runner.

The Inov-8 Trailroc line will include three different trail running shoes, featuring various Shoc-Zone levels of cushioning, protection, and differential. The Zero Shoc-Zone Trailroc 235 is a pure minimalist shoe with 0mm differential between the heel and forefoot.

The One Arrow Shoc-Zone Trailroc 245 is 3mm differential trail shoe, ideal for runners with already strong feet and calves as well as efficient running style. Finally, the Two Arrow Shoc-Zone Trailroc 255 with 6mm differential makes the perfect training shoe for more advanced runners.

The Inov-8 trail running shoes feature an anatomic fit, allowing your foot to naturally spread on the ground for maximum surface area grip. The Met-Cradle lacing system uses webbing to secure your 1st and 5th metatarsals in natural alignment, while firmly holding your forefoot in place regardless of terrain.

The Trailroc sole is optimized for loose, rugged, and uneven trail conditions. Three unique areas are made up of different compounds and cleat sizes, matching how each section is used when you run. For example, endurance rubber and large cleats are placed in the highest wear areas such as the ball of your foot.

Hard, sticky rubber and large cleats are utilized on the outer sections for extra traction and stability on eroded trails. The toe and inner arch areas use soft sticky rubber and smaller cleats to break through that loose rock and grip the more stable trail terrain underneath.

Look for the Inov-8 Trailroc series to hit the shelves before the start of the Fall 2012 season.
