While the recent PLX-1000 turntable from Pioneer DJ certainly represented a desirable choice for DJs and vinyl enthusiasts alike, its hefty price tag put it out of reach for many consumers. However, Pioneer DJ is back this week with the announcement of the PLX-500 , which retains many of the features of its big brother while coming in at roughly half the price.
The PLX-500 boasts a line output, which means it can be plugged straight into speakers without an external amp. There’s also USB audio output that will allow you to rip your vinyl to MP3.
