With its minimal decor and naturally slate landscape, Carolin and Kalle’s Swedish wedding was absolutely ethereal. The bride wore a birdcage veil with small fascinator atop her long blonde waves, and accessorized with a pop of teal in her suede pumps. After a joyous church ceremony, guests made their way to Fabriken Furillen , an industrial venue in the middle of the small island. Photographer Sara Norrehed captured the newlyweds during an intimate walk along the coast where the couple proved that a gray backdrop can be irresistibly romantic!

The Inspiration:
We decided early that we wanted to have our wedding party at the hotel Fabriken, located on a small island called Furillen, just next to the bigger Swedish island Gotland. Furillen has got it’s own character and nature, where the lights is very special and the surrounding is very grey (in a beautiful way). So we just let Furillen decide the looks.
The Moments:
It was amazing when we walked out of the church and knew that the best party ever was about to happen.

Sara captured our day perfectly. She did a fantastic job, and portrayed the special light and atmosphere of Furillen. The staff at Fabriken Furillen also deserve a lot of credit. The food, service, everything was perfect.
