UK dance media veterans DJ Mag have the world’s biggest music ballot, in the form of its Top 100 poll , and while its annual results continue to be a huge source of controversy, it certainly has the dance world paying attention every year. Voting is now open for the 2016 poll.
The ballot runs until Wednesday, September 14, with the winners announced at the Top 100 DJs Poll Awards on Wednesday, October 19, during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) .
Last year saw a huge uproar when Belgian upstarts Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike stormed the poll to knock reigning Dutch champions Hardwell and Martin Garrix off their thrones. The duo taking the #1 spot led to all sorts of outraged reactions exploding across Twitter. Nevertheless, we await this year’s results with baited breath.
