For the producers out there who’ve dreamed of combining all of their kit into the one device, this dream is now becoming a reality with the unveiling from boutique New Zealand manufacturer Synthstrom Audible of their monolithic new Deluge machine, a portable electronic instrument that combines a synthesizer, sequencer and sampler all in one device.
The Deluge offers everything needed for the creation and performance of electronic music “without the need of a computer.” Its creators claim the machine has been designed from the ground up, independent from any other influences from existing hardware, with the intention of offering a “totally unique, intuitive and simple interface” that will allow users to instantly start creating music.
