Carly & AJ’s proposal story was nothing short of a fairytale! The bride-to-be shared with us that AJ had arranged for Carly’s best friend to take her for a wine tasting at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Not one to let go of her daily agenda, the ever-keen Carly called the gardens to find out when the tasting would start. Only then did she find out that they offered was no such thing… albeit confused, Carly decided to go along with the plan.
She had no idea that upon her arrival she would be met by her three college best friends, her parents, a violinist and of course AJ! Carly recalls being so beside herself that instead of saying “yes!” right away, she asked AJ how many times he retied his tie to get it just right (a running joke between the two).
