Looking for some pretty wedding style inspiration on this cold Tuesday morning? I was too, and thought it would be fun to dip into a board I worked on that pairs two uber-hot {and haute?} trends I’ve been seeing with my brides .
First HUGE wedding trend? The use of soft, antiqued gold as a new neutral. Another biggie? The undying love for all things art-deco, be it in decor, stationery, fashion or flowers. So I was thinking… we’ve seen these themes done a million times over, but how can we make these beautiful {and yes, somewhat overused} bridal style trends new again? Well, why not combine them into a whole new world of pretty?!
Scroll below. I love the end result… and while I usually keep my inspiration boards private for my clients eyes only , I thought this was worth sharing for the romantic yet fashionable bride-to-be. Each element picks up on the somewhat antiqued vibe of of blush plus gold, but beveled edges, bits of bling, and graphic nips of old-meets-new {i.e. swoon-worthy Fornasetti plates! } somehow makes a melding of these two wedding trends totally fresh again….
I hope you enjoyed! What are some style trends that are inspiring you these days?
