At the very tippy top of the Chesapeake is a bayside town that we fall in love with time and time again! Havre de Grace and it’s iconic lighthouse make for the perfect engagement photos! The fantastic Sarah Culver shared this one of a kind, laid back and nautical engagement session. Congratulations on your upcoming day Laurynne and Nikc!

“Tyler and Amanda may just be the most adorable couple I have ever met. I had the most fabulous time photographing their engagement session around Amanda’s family farm. We toured through the wheat fields, between hay bails and overlooked a magical canyon… this was on just one piece of property that means so much to the beautiful bride-to-be. It was the perfect night with the perfect couple.” – Lindsay Nickel Photography
“I always assumed my cousin would shoot my wedding, but after his wife became pregnant early this year he stopped doing wedding photography. I was referred to a number of other photographers but Tyler and I had a strict budget and all of them were either too expensive or we didn’t like their style. So I Googled photographers in our area and that’s when I came across Lindsay . We looked through her portfolio and loved her photos! When we sat down with her a few weeks later to discuss our wedding we absolutely fell in love with her too! She has such a bubbly personality and seemed genuinely thrilled to be our photographer. We were so pleased to have her shoot our engagement photos and are even more excited about her capturing our wedding next June!
..Yes! To stick with our budget we are making all of our table centerpieces. I gathered small bundles of sticks and dead branches and spray painted them black. Then I fastened these adorable little red rosettes to all the branches. We will insert the bundles into tall vases with red glass rocks at the bottom. Going flowerless will really save us a lot of money and the bundles are actually quite beautiful! We are also printing our own invitations using ready-to-assemble kits from Michael’s… and we are putting together the flower bundles for the church pew decorations…
..I’m looking forward to seeing all the centerpieces and other decorations come together on the day of our wedding. I have an idea of what everything will look like but I won’t get to see it all until the big day. I’m also super excited about my dress. I already said yes to my dress (a drop waist gown from DB!) but I’m going to do a few unique alterations so that it’s truly one-of-a-kind. I won’t give away too many details just in case my fiancé reads this, but I will say that black lace is not out of the question. I’ve got lots of ideas and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!” – Amanda, the bride-to-be

Silver, Red, and Purple Jewish Wedding

Elegant Purple, Red, and Silver Jewish Wedding
This elegant wedding is filled with not only glamourous fashion and decor, but also so much fun and laughter! Bride and groom, Hadas and Nir, met online and describe their relationship as spontaneous, unpredictable, playful, down-to-earth, and simply real. I have to say, their wedding has many similarities to their relationship! It is so obvious from these photos that the couple’s children were a big part of the wedding as well. It melts my heart to see that Hadas was walked down the aisle by her daughter. Oh how memorable! After a traditional, Jewish ceremony, this couple ended the night with a bang! Their reception reflects their fun personalities filled with a rocking band, photo booth, and lots of dancing. Ending their night at 2 a.m., Hadas and Nir truly had an unforgettable wedding day.
Thank you, IQphoto Studio , for submitting these beautiful and fun photos!

“Katie and Rian are such a sweet, fun loving couple! They have been together FOREVER and finally became husband and wife this summer. All parts of their wedding took place at the beautiful Inn at Longshore , in Westport CT, which complemented their love of all things nautical as well as their coral and navy color scheme. It was a pleasure working with them!” – Candace Jeffery Photography
I absolutely love these darling gifts that Katie gave her bridesmaids! Beautiful styling… and I bet her girls were absolutely thrilled! Make sure to do something nice like this for your besties… I’m going to buy that bracelet , I’m obsessed!
“We have so many great memories from our wedding day, it’s hard to choose just one! But I would have to say our first look. I got a ride on a golf cart and met Rian where he was anxiously waiting in the middle of the huge oak trees that line the long windy road to the Inn At Longshore. It was so beautiful, romantic and exciting. It was so nice to have that special moment together and some relaxing time before we said “I do”…
..We had many DIY projects for our wedding. I feel that it’s the little details that truly make your wedding unique and special. We were very lucky to have the help of a friend and artist Molly Shanahan who’s amazing talent helped make this possible. A few were hand painted chalkboard signs for the bar, bathrooms, favor table and thank you photo. As escort cards we came up with the idea of message in a bottles laid in sand, which were so adorable! As table numbers we purchased blown glass balls with nautical rope and attached sand dollars to them with the table numbers written on. A top favorite was our favors which was my Uncle Kenny’s homemade relish! As a family we spent many hours canning and putting the jars together. It was definitely time consuming but well worth it to see the final product beautifully displayed at our wedding!
..Have Fun!! It’s very easy to become overwhelmed with all there is that goes along with planning a wedding. Take the help when offered. Give yourself plenty of time if possible to plan your wedding. This will ease the stress and also allows you to really get creative and most importantly have fun doing it! Go with your instinct, if you like something and think it’s a good idea then go for it! There will be many different opinions but do what you feel will make you happy. My family and friends and I made some amazing memories throughout the whole process!” – Katie, the bride
