Hi Friends! We coordinated a lovely beach birthday celebration in beautiful Malibu. We designed a tent on the beach and created an indoor-outdoor feeling. I asked Nancy Kaye at Marks Garden to incorporate drift wood and florals and some beach elements but as the party is for a man I didn’t want it to come off too fluffy :)
We used blues, taupe linen and touches of white and Revelry furniture.
But my most favorite decor element was the hand painted lanterns that match the back of the menus and pillows on the couches. The other furniture groupings were on the patios for cocktails and the blankets and pillows surrounded a fire pit where the guests made s’mores late into the evening. Ahhhhhh one day I dream about having a beach house….Enjoy xox Mindy
