A couple of weeks ago, Mission Workshop officially launched their new division called Acre. Making the move from urban streets to the trail, the Acre Trail System collection includes a complete line of weatherproof bags and apparel that enable you to not only ride year round, but look styish doing so.
Made in the USA, the 10L and 14L Hauser hydration packs ($195-$205) are completely waterproof, ensuring your gear stays dry during those mud season hammerfests. A perforated back panel and shoulder straps help with ventilation. The roll top closure packs are compatible with pretty much any hydration reservoir up to 3L in size.
The Hauser features four weatherproof exterior pockets for quick access to snacks and other on trail essentials. The hydration packs come with a tool-roll for easy organization of all your emergency bike fixing necessities. When you pull off the trail for a pint and a warm up by the fire, hidden carry straps pull out to secure your helmet and protective gear.
The Meridian Jacket ($385), a highlight in the new Acre apparel line, is made from waterproof Schoeller c_Change fabric that adapts its breathability in accordance with your body temperature and activity level. As a result, the Meridian jacket performs well in a wide range of situations. Pit zips can be opened to increase ventilation and a rear pocket comes in handy for those shorter rides where you may not want to carry a pack.
Available soon, the Traverse bike shorts are made from a lightweight, water repellent, 4-way stretch fabric. Features include a fully adjustable waist belt, zippered cargo pockets, and a gusseted inseam. Rounding out the collection are two merino wool short sleeve bike shirts, the Linear ($95) crew and District ($135) button down.
The new Acre collection from Mission Workshop can be ordered online from the Acre site or found at a small selection of retailers, including the dedicated Acre store in San Francisco.
