1. It’s Beautiful here
Asheville is nestled in a valley surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, part of the Appalachian Mountains . We’re lucky to be enveloped by a rich list of outdoor playscapes: Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, Panthertown Valley, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Many of our hammock photo shoots take place in these woods and we all love hammocking here!
2. It’s Progressive
There are many forward-thinking initiatives the people of Asheville have implemented that fall in line with our values. Between the abundant farmers markets, local food movements, and independent business culture we feel right at home here.
3. Beer City!
Asheville’s thirst for quality craft beer and pride in independent business culture go hand in hand around these parts. With seemingly countless breweries here, they are all grassroots grown and have added a unique flavor to Asheville’s attractions. A typical Saturday in Asheville could easily look like: hiking and hammocking in one of the many beautiful surrounding forests, eating lunch at an independently owned restaurant with locally sourced food, and finishing it all off with a hometown brewski !
4. Outdoor Industry Community
Asheville recently has gained recognition for being “gear-city” as well! We are not alone in the outdoor industry here in Western North Carolina. The stunning environment and kind people have attracted many outdoor gear entrepreneurs, such as the Outdoor Gear Builders . We are grateful to have partners like these to interact in our community with.
